I've been neglecting my blogging duties.

It's true. My poor blog has been neglected in the past, but it's a goal to make a habit of writing new blogs. I'm also in the dreaded state of redoing my website. Both have suffered and neither got the attention that they needed. It's about time to fix that.

Creating a new website has been a full time job in itself. I spent at least a week digging out all the amazing photos and yet at least another week getting the website to look appropriate. Since then, I've been dragging and dropping images into their new home on the new website. I've been avoiding the about me section and other informational pages, but at least this time I can be happy linking it to the blog. I will also be debuting a brand new first edition logo for Jessi Dalton Photography. This all has been a long time coming.

I am SO pleased with the way its all turning out and just can't wait to share it with you all. Please... stay tuned! New and improved Jessi Dalton Photography is on it's way.

2013 Senior Rep - Abby Prinz

Introducing the first Senior Rep for 2013... Abby!!

I first met Abby at a Starbucks as we met to discuss the possibilities of becoming a Senior Rep and right then and there, I knew this girl was going to be a blast! I am beyond excited about sharing these photos with you all. Abby will graduate from Ponderosa High in May of 2013. Not only does she do Poms with Ponderosa, but she also dances at Starstruck Academy. So much talent and so many laughs. Thank you Abby for such a wonderful session!

Class of 2012 - Cassie Brozek

I had the pleasure of meeting Cassie and her father at our Design Consultation a few weeks ago. I was a little nervous as I had never met them before and wasn't sure what to expect or what they were hoping to get out of me, but after the meeting, I felt SO much better. They were so sweet and I had a wonderful feeling about the session to come. The morning of our session, we met on location and with a little nerves and a few smiles we were ready! It took us a little bit to get our game faces on, but finally everyone became comfortable in front of the camera, and we were able to capture some truly stunning photos! I am so happy to share some additional images with you and how the finishing touch really makes Cassie POP! I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do. Baby's First Year!

About 3 weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working with Auntie Alexa and birthday boy, Andrew! We had set up this session and a surprise gift to Alexa's sister Carly. I was told it was easy to sneak Andrew off...no questions asked! Andrew arrived ready to go, but a few minutes into it, he just wasn't having any of it. He wanted his Auntie. So we made a game out of him crawling to her and were able to capture some great shots of him! Some of my favorites include him in this baby leather chair (which I'm told he looked just like his grandpa! too cute!!). When he tired of the crawling game, we decided it was time for this little man to have some cake. He was very cautious at first, but he really got into it and it make for TONS of laughs and really great photos! I had such a blast on this shoot! 2012 Senior Rep - Karlee Teet

Presenting the final 2012 Senior Representative for Jessi Dalton Photography, Karlee Teet! She is such an outstanding young lady and the more I get to know her the more I find out just how amazing she is. Karlee is a gymnast at Colorado Gymnastics Institute (CGI) and has just started her Senior Year at Chaparral High School. After graduating in May, she'll attend Central Michigan on a full ride scholarship for gymnastics!!

My session with Karlee was easy going and full of laughter and catching up. It's been awhile since I've had the pleasure of working with Karlee, but this session did not disappoint! I am in love with the images from her session. I am so happy and pleased that I had the opportunity to share this bit in their lives! All of their love, support, and hard work has paid off and I am truly blessed to have gotten to know this family! I am looking forward to continually watching them grow and all the good things that come there way. I hope this is only the beginning to a wonderful relationship with the Teet family! Congratulations you guys and Karlee on all of your success! Keep up the hard work and good luck with Senior Year and all the adventures that lie ahead!!
